Time to Get Creative

After a year of moving, finishing another degree and organizing the new house, it's time to get creative. I finally figured out how to "knit one purl one" LOL is that hilarious or what? Okay, so here's the proof!

Bed Runners!!

Bed Runners! What a great idea. Okay so this has got to be on my "hoping to DO" list. LOL! Planning a trip to NY and will be digging through my quilting room with the idea of making it beautiful. Will include "under construction" pics soon.

Warm Thoughts....

It's snowing like crazy here but I am filled with warm thoughts of quilting! My new quilting room is a complete disaster with fabric all about the floor and my lovely sewing machines still in their boxes. We moved about a month ago and I've not yet had the time to free my fabric, thread, yarn and batting...(((sigh))) To be continued!

Absent from My Quilting Life...

I've been absent from my quilting life while finishing my MSW degree. Finally, classes will end on December 6th and I can become lost again in my quilting dreams. I've been basting in ideas about what type of quilt to focus on. Already, I have images in my mind of dancing yellow threads and purple buttons...uhm, we'll see what the next creation will be. I'll pick up my camera tomorrow, someone borrowed it....I need to upload pictures of new fabric. I might have been absent from my blog but not the fabric stores.... so I can upload new fabric

Quilters Guilt!

Ok, so it's been forever!! Yes! and I feel awful about it! Ok, so there's been graduations, birthday's, puppy training, writing, etc, etc but NO quilting! That's not good! So, now its time to re-discover my inner cloth and begin quilting again! Look for some coming attractions!

Just In Time for Valentine's Day!

Just finished my son's Valentine's Day Quilt just in time for Valentine's Day Tomorrow! "Whoo-Hoo" With everything going on, I am thankful to have completed it! Hubby had a cold and gave his wife a cold so I have been out of commission for bit. Although my sewing machine is doing very well and ready for the next quilt, I'm not. Gladly, I will be traveling across the pond to London England for a few weeks. However, joyfully and without delay, I will resume more quilting adventures when I return!

Finished Valentine's Day Quilt Top...Can't wait to put on the Border!

Here are a few pictures of my Valentine's Day Quilt Top. I think it looks GREAT! All I need to do now is add the borders and backing! I'm excited about having it all done by this weekend!
